Whites Seahorse Original Artwork by Jo Bell framed.
32.5cm x 36.5cm.
Original pen and ink drawing framed with Art glass in a light wooden frame.
The Whites Seahorse was a highlight to see at Mosman’s Clifton Gardens. Once our eyes saw one we started to see more. They are delicate little creatures that cleverly blend in with their environment and are known to change colour according to their mood and their habitat. Often seen nestled in the seaweed or on the bathing nets. They are endemic to NSW. The White’s Seahorse is unfortunately endangered due to habitat loss of seagrass and soft coral. Luckily The Sydney Seahorse Project (SIMS) is helping to increase their numbers.
